HESSCO's 2017 Annual Meeting was another festive celebration of the direct care workers who go above and beyond the call of duty, the staff who were recognized for their years with the agency, and the Community Partners who support our mission. The Annual Meeting held true to form by sharing this year's collection of warm, personal stories of the care and commitment demonstrated by the homemakers and home health aides who provide the direct care in the homes of our consumers. It was a little extra special this year, however, as 2017 marks HESSCO's 40th year of providing Care, Support and Solutions to elders, individuals living with a disability and their caregivers in South Norfolk County. Congratulations to all the award recipients and to everyone at HESSCO on this key milestone! ... See MoreSee Less

All Meals on Wheels consumers will be receiving two emergency, shelf stable meals this week, along with their regular meals deliveries. Please save these meals for a day that regular meal delivery cannot take place due to inclement weather. This meal can be stored in a cabinet for three months. In the event of an impending storm, the nutrition staff will make every attempt to deliver a frozen meal in addition to your regular meals delivery prior to the inclement weather. However, on days that HESSCO cannot deliver meals and an additional frozen meal has not been provided, please use this meal as a substitute. If you have any concerns, please contact Jayne Davis, Nutrition Director, at 781-784-4944. ... See MoreSee Less

Today is #GivingTuesday.

During this busy season of giving thanks, enjoying friends and family, shopping and decorating, the #GivingTuesday movement is asking that we all take a moment to make the conversation about giving.

November 28th is a day to give back. You can participate in this show of collective generosity with a donation to HESSCO. Your donation will help us continue our our mission of delivering meals to those who have difficulty making their own, providing homemaking and home health aide services to those in need, advocating for residents in nursing facilities, counseling Medicare recipients on health insurance options and protecting our seniors from neglect and abuse.

Your gift can make a difference. Click Here hessco.org/donation-page-july-2017/ to make a donation and help us continue to serve our consumers to Age Well.
