MetroWest Legal Services’ Senior Citizens’ Legal Project provides civil legal representation to consumers in the areas of public benefits, housing, defense of guardianship, nursing home issues, and some consumer and elder abuse issues.
Cost of Legal Services
Through Federal Title III funding from the Administration on Aging and HESSCO, the program is offered free of charge to consumers, but a voluntary, confidential donation of any amount is suggested.
The mission of MetroWest Legal Services is to provide legal advocacy to protect and advance the rights of the poor, elderly, disabled and other disenfranchised people in obtaining legal, social and economic justice. MetroWest Legal Services will assist eligible persons in securing access to basic needs and in challenging institutional barriers in order to achieve equal justice for all.
