On December, 1^st, HESSCO will be participating in #GivingTuesday, a global day dedicated to gratitude and giving. #GivingTuesday is held annually on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, following the widely recognized shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday. This kicks off the holiday giving season and inspires people to give back in impactful ways to nonprofits and causes they support. We’re partnering with GIVE65, a program of the Home Instead Foundation, and are hoping to receive matching grants for our Meals on Wheels program. We have a chance to receive up to $5,000 in matching grants which are given on a first-donated, first-matched basis.

We’re kindly asking you to visit www.give65.org/HESSCOGivingTuesday  on December 1^st. We encourage you to give as early on December 1st as possible (event starts at 1:00 a.m.) to have a chance to receive matching funds. With your support and our partnership with GIVE65, we have the opportunity to make an even greater impact in the lives of older adults and their families right here in South Norfolk County.
